Two-Week Grace Period

You and your students can try Eli Review for free for two weeks.

You can start the two-week clock whenever you wish—today, next month, next semester. Just choose the date you want the free access to begin, AFTER that date invite your students to enroll. Students will be able to enroll and submit work during the two week grace period without being prompt to subscribe.

Ready to start using Eli Review?

Use the form below to contact one of Eli’s Professional Development Peer Coaches and start your free trial.

How does the grace period work?

  1. Instructors schedule the free two weeks.
  2. After the free trial begins, students enroll, either by using your course code or through an integration.
  3. At the end of the free two weeks, students will be prompted to subscribe in order to enroll in that course.

If students enroll in the course before they free trial is scheduled, they will be prompted to subscribe until the free trial begins. Once the free trial begins, they can submit work without being prompted to subscribe.

Student access during the grace period is the same in terms of setup, privacy, terms of use, and student copyright.

Starting  two-week grace period

When you’re ready to begin the grace period, setup is automatic and easy:

  1. Sign up: if you haven’t already, create an account and sign in. It’s always free for instructors and students.
  2. Start a course: again, if you haven’t already, you’ll be prompted to start a course after signing up. This too is always free for instructors.
  3. Set up your grace period: you’ll see a button labelled “Start Your Free Two Weeks” – simply click it and specify when you want the access to start. You’ll receive a confirmation email, and you’ll see a reminder that the course is free for students who enroll throughout the duration of the grace period.
  4. Give students the information to enroll in your Eli Review course. Students will enroll by typing your course code (locate it under the Roster tab) or by clicking on the Eli Review external tool link if your campus has an integration.

This video demonstrates the process for getting started with a free trial:
